Terms of Use

These Terms describe the rules for using APT (Avee Player Template) and the aveeplayertemplates.com service. By installing or using APT, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using APT (the "App") or by accessing any service operated under aveeplayertemplates.com (together, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. The service

APT is an Android application that lets users discover, download, like, upload and manage visual templates designed to be used inside the third-party app Avee Player. Some features work without an account, while account-based features may include uploads, saved items, avatars, creator profiles, linked devices, two-factor settings, support tickets, notifications and moderation-related tools. We may add, remove or change features of the Service at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes through in-app messages or this website.

3. Accounts

Some features require you to create an account. When you do, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your credentials confidential — you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Notify us promptly through the APT contact form if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • Be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to consent to the processing of personal data in your country.

4. User content

If you upload templates, thumbnails, descriptions, profile images or other material to the Service ("User Content"), the following applies:

  • You retain ownership of your User Content.
  • You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit, adapt and display your User Content for the limited purpose of operating, providing and promoting the Service.
  • You confirm that you own your User Content or have all the rights and permissions necessary to share it.
  • We may generate derived files from your uploads — for example previews, thumbnails or transcoded videos — for delivery to other users.
  • We may validate titles, descriptions, tags, files and preview media before accepting or publishing them. Low-quality, spam-like, misleading, repetitive or over-tagged submissions may be rejected, hidden or edited for catalog quality.
  • Public creator/profile fields such as display name, username, avatar, follower counts and template/download signals may be shown in creator discovery surfaces if your account/content is visible there.

5. Prohibited use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any third party.
  • Upload malware, viruses, deceptive files, or anything designed to harm devices or other users.
  • Upload sexually explicit content involving minors, violent extremism, harassment, or content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, scrape the API at scale, reverse engineer the App outside what is permitted by law, or interfere with normal operation of the Service.
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited messages, ads, or spam.
  • Abuse template metadata, descriptions, tags, creator names or support tickets with repeated characters, meaningless text, keyword stuffing or misleading labels.
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

6. Intellectual property

The App, the Service, the APT brand, the source code and all materials we provide are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, we reserve all rights. Templates contributed by users belong to their respective authors.

7. Relationship with Avee Player

APT is an independent third-party tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the developers of Avee Player. "Avee Player" is the property of its respective owners and is referenced here only to describe compatibility. You are responsible for using Avee Player in compliance with its own terms.

8. Advertising and third-party services

APT may display advertising supplied by Google Mobile Ads, APT house ads, or no ads depending on the active server-side app configuration. Google ad availability, content, measurement, consent and privacy controls may depend on Google Play services, Google consent tools, participating advertising providers, and applicable law. Their separate terms and privacy policies apply to their processing. APT house ads are internal promotional cards for APT features, creator/product updates or community links.

APT also links to Google Play, Avee Player, creator pages, social platforms and other third-party services. We do not control those external services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, or remove your User Content, if you violate these Terms or if your activity creates legal or operational risk. You may stop using APT at any time. You may also delete your account at any time — see the Data Deletion page for instructions.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure, or that any specific template will be available at any given time.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall APT, its operators, contributors or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profit, or loss of goodwill, arising out of your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) EUR 50.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence still apply where applicable.
